Lots of walking trails and fishing. Great place to hike with our dog and baby. Some trails are smooth gravel and even stroller accessible while others are very narrow and intense and would be difficult to hike with kids. The difficulty of the trail is predicable based on what the trail head looks like. On the more remote trails I've seen lots of wild life including deer foxes lots of butterflies and turtles.
Great place to take a drive through with your windows down and the music turned up! You can fish, take your dog out and relax in the nice weather, hang out with your friends. It's a nice, wooded area where you can hike or camp out and enjoy the scenery.
This is a beautiful place to take a walk or have a picnic. I've been coming here for years and always love it. It's closed to cars on weekends for even nicer long walks.
Perfect spot for a hike, bike ride or fishing trip. Easy access to the trails with plenty of parking. The fishing center offers boat rentals for very cheap in the spring, summer and fall. Fishing can be tough, but there are big ones in this lake! Fantastic spot!
